About Fraternity and Sorority Life

Vision

We strive to develop an inclusive community that empowers members to lead boldly and belong fully.

Mission

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) advocates for members of social fraternities and sororities by creating co-curricular learning experiences that foster well-being, advance values-based leadership, and inspire meaningful community engagement, resulting in a vibrant and transformative student experience.

Benefits of Joining

Approach to Risk Management

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is committed to creating a safer community through impactful educational experiences while promoting social development. Prioritizing the well-being of members goes beyond following university rules and organization policies. It’s about making informed decisions that cultivate a high standard of personal integrity and organization responsibility.

Annual Report

Our office’s annual reports provide a comprehensive review of our fraternity and sorority community’s accomplishments, growth statistics, academic performance, and chapter impact. These reports also capture our office’s successes, challenges, and action items for the future.

FSL Guidebook

Our FSL Guidebook is a resource to help introduce prospective students of Butler and potential new members to our community. By the end of the guidebook, readers should have a better idea of our organizations and the transformative experience a student can have by being in a fraternity or sorority.
