Multicultural Greek Council (MCGC)

The MCGC, hosted at Indiana University-Indianapolis, serves as an alliance to unite all Multicultural Greek-lettered organizations under one umbrella.
MCGC chapters, both fraternities and sororities, recruit through a process known as intake. The intake process for every chapter is defined by its international/national organization. Each chapter will not begin its actual membership intake process until later in the academic year, as MCGC fraternities and sororities usually do not accept a student for membership until the student has completed at least 12–24 hours of college credit with a minimum GPA.
City-wide Chapters
City wide fraternities and sororities are organizations that allow members from more than one college/university to join their chapter. For Butler students, you have the opportunity to join select culturally based Greek organizations that have members from multiple institutions in Indianapolis. Butler students are eligible for membership in three of the four MCGC city-wide chapters:
