Marketing and Communications is focused on University-wide brand messaging and positioning. We partner with campus divisions to develop research-driven, results-oriented marketing plans that drive University objectives and tell Butler’s story.

Butler’s Marketing and Communications division is your creative partner. Whether it’s developing a results-oriented marketing plan, an eye-catching brochure, or a well-crafted press release, we’re here to take the lead and help you meet your marketing and communications goals. A trusted partner and reliable resource, our department develops and manages the institutional brand and reputation, reinforces the University’s relevance in the lives of crucial target stakeholder groups, and plays a meaningful role in fulfilling Butler’s mission.
Due to the number of marketing needs across the University, our team focuses the majority of its work on the University’s most strategic areas: Advancement Marketing, Athletics Marketing, Arts/Events Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Enrollment Marketing.
If your project doesn’t fall within one of the areas outlined above, please use the Request a Project button below. Projects that are externally facing often stay with someone on our team to manage. All internally facing projects will need to be done using one of our ready-made templates, or by our student freelance team for a minimum wage hourly rate that is paid for by the client.
