Instrumentation

Our department has a variety of equipment for students to use in laboratory course work and in faculty mentored undergraduate research. The equipment is meant to provide students with a hands-on experience in sample preparation, data collection and data analysis. Students may begin to use instrumentation as early as second semester of their first year of study, but will routinely use the instrumentation during upper level laboratory courses. In addition to small equipment (such as pH meters) the department maintains the following larger equipment for student and faculty use:
