A few of our current Butler families share a message with new families and parents.

Check out the FERPA Information page to learn about the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and how it impacts you and your student.

In the event of a campus emergency, weather-related delay or closing, Butler University will activate the emergency notification tool, DawgAlert. This system gives Butler administrators the ability to reach students, faculty, staff, and affiliates on and off campus via text messages and voice and email alerts.

Beginning August 1st, students can register themselves and family members for Dawg Alert. Visit the DawgAlert page to learn how your student can enter your contact information to receive DawgAlerts.

Later this Summer, we will be providing opportunities for students and families to connect with faculty, staff, and current students.

Visit the Connect with Campus page to keep up to date on these opportunities.

There are several times throughout the year that will be of significance to you and your Butler student. It may be helpful to mark these dates on your calendar so you can support your student through the ebbs and flows of college life.
