Family Weekend

The dates are set for Family Weekend 2026! Mark your calendars for October 9–11, 2026. We look forward to welcoming families to campus for a weekend of connecting with their students and experiencing the Butler community together.

Family Weekend events are open to all Butler students and their families. Students are encouraged to participate with their families or join activities on their own.

What to Expect

Family Weekend typically includes activities throughout the weekend, beginning Friday afternoon and evening, continuing throughout the day Saturday, and wrapping up Sunday afternoon. Families can choose the events that work best for their schedules—there is no expectation to attend everything. The weekend includes a mix of experiences:

• Free, come-and-go activities that do not require a ticket
• Butler ticketed sporting events
• Ticketed events and experiences, which can be purchased as part of the Family Weekend registration process

A full schedule, including event details, registration information, and ticket options, will be available soon. All families and students will receive information via email when registration opens.
