The Marketing and Communications team is constantly seeking stories that speak to the unique nature of Butler. Our overarching objective is to share timely, powerful, compelling, and differentiating stories whenever most appropriate and relevant. As we gather story ideas, we consider potential audience, our resources, the best timing for the story, as well as the most appropriate medium for telling the story.

We play an important role in Butler’s communications actions during emergencies, including sending out messages through email and posting notices on our main websites.
The Marketing and Communications team works to communicate with our campus, whether it is about an interesting story, an important announcement, or an unexpected issue, in a timely and clear way. Butler Today is an internal facing website that is home to timely news, stories, announcements, and events for Butler faculty, staff, and students. The goal of this site is to engage our campus community so they can better understand the direction of the University, and show the lively and vibrant place Butler is to work and study.
The Butler Today website works in tandem with the Butler Today email that is sent to faculty, staff, and students twice a week. It also feeds announcements and events directly to the Butler App.
