2023 Benefits Open Enrollment October 31 – November 11, 2022

Open enrollment is the time when you can elect or change your benefit options and coverage. Open Enrollment is a great time to review what plans you have and make sure they are right for you.

Highlights and Changes For Plan Year 2023

  • GenerationYou (GenYou) is replacing Apta as Butler’s care coordination partner
    • GenYou is a fully integrated care support service offered by UMR providing personal and engaging assistance and care coordination
    • Official GenYou rollout will occur in January 2023
  • Flexible Spending Account contribution maximum increase (remember you must re-elect each year)
    • $2,750 to $3,050
    • Rollover amount (into plan year 2024) increased from $500 to $610
  • Health Savings Account contribution maximum increase (remember you must re-elect each year)
    • Individual $3,650 to $3,850 (includes employer contribution)
    • Family $7,300 to $7,750 (includes employer contribution)
  • CDHD-HSA Plan deductible increase
    • Individual $2,800 to $3,000
    • Family $5,600 to $6,000
  • No dental plan premium increase
  • Medical plan premium increase of 3%
    • First increase in medical plan premiums since plan year 2019
  • Vision plan premium increase of 20%
    • First increase in vision plan premiums since plan year 2019
    • EyeMed has agreed to hold the 2023 rates for the next 4 plan years
