Bulldog Jog 5k and Indy Runners 10-miler
From the Bulldog Jog Committee
We were certainly looking forward to a fun day gathering on campus to refresh and expand the Bulldog Jog with our partnership with Indy Runners. However, with the uncertainly of the coming weeks and prudent restrictions on large gatherings, we have decided to shift to a Virtual Race experience for the Bulldog Jog this year.
We still plan to have race shirts for participants and all donations will still be made to Butler HRC student programs, Indy Runners scholarship, and the Indy Humane Society. Plus the Butler Points Challenge will still be awarded to the dorm, sorority, fraternity, or department that has the most virtual participants.
Our deadline for guaranteeing a shirt is Sunday, April 5 at midnight, so please register by then. We will be in touch to figure out the best way to deliver your shirt to you.
We encourage you to run/walk your "race" on your own, wearing either your race shirt, or your best Butler gear, and send us some pictures on Instagram/Twitter using the hashtag #bulldogjog2020" and we'll compile a nice record of everyone's efforts.
Note: We do recognize that a "Virtual Dog Walk" is a little more odd than a Virtual Race—but we will have Butler Blue's Dawg Walk shirts and then $10 of those entries will go to our donation to the Indy Humane Society.
Thanks so much for interest and we hope to see you again soon.

This year’s Bulldog Jog 5k and Indy Runners 10-miler will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 8:00 AM. The Dog Walk will begin at 8:15 AM.
Location: Butler University’s Health and Recreation Complex, 530 W 49th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208
Starting in 2020, Butler University and Indy Runners local running club are partnering to refresh our traditional Bulldog Jog 5k by changing the course and adding a 10-miler! Proceeds benefit Butler students who want to go the extra mile by attending conferences and workshops and obtaining certifications in the field of wellness, fitness, recreation, and sport. Many of these opportunities are cost-prohibitive for students, so grants funded by this event help give them the support they need. In addition to Butler students, proceeds will also go towards the Indy Runners Giving Back program, which include our HS Scholarship Program.
