Canva Butler
Looking for an easy way to make content for your college, division, or campus group?
Marketing and Communications has partnered with Canva to launch Canva Butler, a Canva Pro account designed to expand campus-wide access to Butler-branded marketing assets. This new type of account includes all the premium features of Pro, in addition to the University’s full brand toolkit.
Our template library has Butler’s official colors, fonts, logos, and photos built in so you can create a wide range of materials, including:
- Flyers
- Social media posts
- Presentation slides
- Signage
- Digital screen graphics
- Posters
How to Join
An individual membership to Canva Butler is $150, and IT will oversee license invoicing. If you’re interested in becoming a member of Canva Butler, please email helpdesk@butler.edu with the full 19-digit budget code to which the membership fee should be charged. Account access will begin within a few days following the request. Please note that memberships cannot be shared due to single sign-on (SSO).
Frequently Asked Questions
If you have an existing Pro subscription, any remaining months on that subscription can be credited to your original payment method. To request this refund, please go to the Payments, Pricing, and Billing category on the Canva website.
You will not lose any files if you become a member of Canva Butler. If your Pro account was created under your Butler email, this new account will be listed as a Team under the circle user icon in the top right corner of Canva. If your Pro account was created under a personal email, the two accounts will not integrate but you can easily transfer files into your view of Canva Butler by following these steps.
