Fall Visiting Writers Series Continues With Richard Price

Butler's 2011-2012 Vivian S. Delbrook Visiting Writers Series continues at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8 with novelist Richard Price speaking in the Atherton Union Reilly Room.

Price’s novels include Freedomland, Clockers, which was nominated for the National Book Critics Circle Award, Samaritan and Lush Life. In 1999 he received an Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. His fiction, articles and essays have appeared in Best American Essays 2002, The New York Times, The New York Times Book Review, The New Yorker, Esquire, The Village Voice and Rolling Stone. He has also written numerous screenplays, including Sea of Love, Ransom and The Color of Money.
