Butler MBA Named a Top 15 Marketing Program
Tuesday, March 23, 2010
Butler University’s College of Business (COB) is one of 15 graduate schools of business named to The Princeton Review’s 2nd annual “Student Opinion Honors for Business Schools” list. Schools comprising the list were highly rated by their students in one or more of the following six categories: accounting, finance, general management, global management, marketing, and operations. The COB was listed in the marketing category.
“This honor is especially significant because it’s based on the opinions of our students,” said Dean Chuck Williams. “We know we have a quality MBA program and our students have confirmed it.”
The Princeton Review compiled the lists using data from its national survey of 19,000 MBA students attending 301 business schools profiled in its book, Best 301 Business Schools: 2010 Edition. The 80-question survey asked students to report on classroom and campus experiences and rate their MBA programs in several areas.
This is the third national recognition the COB has earned this academic year. BusinessWeek magazine ranked the undergraduate program 63rd and the MBA program 36th in the nation and 8th in the Midwest for 2010.
The “Student Opinion Honors for Business Schools” list can be found in the April 2010 issue of Entrepreneur, and online at http://www.princetonreview.com/student-opinion-honors-marketing.aspx
