Bias Incident Report

All members of the community are encouraged to report incidents of bias they observe or experience. If you have experienced or witnessed a bias incident, there are several ways to submit a report using the online report form. Once you have completed and submitted the online form, there are members of the campus community who will reach out to listen and to provide care, support, and resources.

The Compass Center, located in the Blue House, is dedicated to supporting students, faculty, and staff in living a life of purpose, meaning, and contribution. We are here to support the religious, spiritual, and secular communities on campus. We promote interfaith engagement and encourage a religiously plural campus where learning across differences enhances our community.

The Diversity Center (DC) serves as an open and inclusive symbol to the Butler campus that fosters contributions of intercultural engagement, support, guidance, and a home to the Butler community committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We celebrate the achievements and continued opportunities of students, staff, and faculty in furthering an inclusive campus community. We serve as a resource for recruitment, retention, and student support for underrepresented communities.

Hub for Black Affairs and Community Engagement

We exist to center and elevate the collective Black voice and experience at Butler University. We strive to lead the disruption and continued dismantling of systemic racism. We will cultivate the collective Black strengths to build and maintain a more inclusive community.

The mission of Indiana Latino Institute (ILI) is to advance Latino educational attainment and workforce preparedness statewide through advocacy, leadership development, and culturally responsive programming.

Bosma: Navigating Blindness

Rooted in more than 100 years of history, Bosma is one of the Midwest’s largest nonprofit organizations providing employment and training for people who are blind or visually impaired. We believe opportunity improves lives now and for generations to come.

The Diversity Roundtable of Central Indiana

The Roundtable provides a forum for leaders, advocates, and supporters of organizational diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to network, enhance diversity competencies, and advocate for diversity inclusive policies and practices.

Indy Pride

Indy Pride, Inc. produces events which educate, honor our history, and celebrate the diversity of the Indianapolis Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer community. We exist to unite and serve our members and the LGBTQ+ community of Central Indiana through leadership development, educational programs, and community events which achieve inclusivity, equality, strong community connections, and awareness of LGBTQ+ issues.

Project Implicit

We are a non-profit organization and international, collaborative network of researchers investigating implicit social cognition, or thoughts and feelings that are largely outside of conscious awareness and control. Project Implicit is the product of a team of scientists whose research produced new ways of understanding attitudes, stereotypes, and other hidden biases that influence perception, judgment, and behavior.

Tangram

Tangram supports people with disabilities by designing services to meet their specific needs and desires. We assist them to live full, meaningful, and happy lives, at home and as members of their community. Tangram joins with community partners to create inclusive and sustainable solutions to challenges faced by those impacted by disabilities.

The Trevor Project

The mission of The Trevor Preojct is to end suicide among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning young people.
