Each spring the Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures Department honors its outstanding students with departmental awards. We invite others to join us in celebrating their achievements.

Given annually to a sophomore or junior Chinese major or minor who demonstrates high academic achievement in the study of  the Chinese-speaking world’s languages, literatures and cultures.

Given to all graduating multilingual majors who have taken courses and demonstrated academic excellence in four or more languages during their time at Butler University.

Presented for academic excellence to a junior female student from Indiana majoring in Spanish.

Given to students who have completed at least two years in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences or the Lacy School of Business and who have demonstrated leadership, service, and academic achievement in the named area.
