Medical Spanish
The Medical Spanish minor equips students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare with the language skills needed to work in Spanish-speaking countries and communities. Each course is taught fully in Spanish, which allows students to be completely immersed in the Spanish language, gaining confidence in their ability to communicate.
Study abroad experiences, internships, and Spanish-speaking rotations will give students additional opportunities to improve their skills first hand. Upon graduation, students will be prepared to find meaningful employment in Spanish speaking countries, better serve their community, and understand—linguistically and culturally—a large sub-section of the American population.
