Language (9 credit hours)
- Minimum of 9 credit hours of Latin or Greek
- Other ancient languages such as Hebrew, Aramaic, Phoenician, Sanskrit, etc. may be used here with approval from the program head

Choose from the following upper-level (300-400) elective courses to fulfill the 18-hour minimum requirement for the Minor (one or two courses):
- Geographic Information Systems (ENV330)
- Topics in History or Anthropology with minor director’s approval (HST305/AN380)
- Any study abroad program with the minor director’s approval, up to 4 hours
- Independent Study or Directed Undergraduate Research course up to four (4) hours approved by the minor director
- Any additional course with an area/regional focus approved by the minor advisor
