Implementation Guides
Basics
The BU|BeWell Dimension Implementation Guides were developed to help Butler faculty and staff confidently integrate the BU|BeWell dimensions of wellness into everyday work.
Whether you teach, supervise employees, plan events, provide services, lead initiatives, or support campus operations, these guides offer practical ideas that make it easier to incorporate well-being into what you are already doing.
Each guide includes:
- A definition of the wellness dimension
- Practical implementation ideas for courses, workplaces, and programs
- Examples that can be adapted across departments
- Suggestions for assessing impact
- Flexible strategies that can be implemented regardless of budget, role, or experience
Rather than prescribing one “right” way to promote well-being, these guides provide adaptable tools that faculty and staff can customize to meet their own goals while contributing to Butler’s shared vision of a healthy campus community.
Faculty and staff told us they wanted practical examples of what the BU|BeWell framework looks like in day-to-day work. These guides were created to translate the framework into practical actions that can be adapted across departments, regardless of an employee’s role or experience.
