Honors Residential Learning Community

Join a community of peers who are curious about the world and seek to expand their intellectual endeavors beyond the classroom. This interdisciplinary program strives to provide you with unique learning opportunities through our Faculty-in-Residence initiative.

If you have been accepted into the Butler Honors Program, all newly admitted first-year students will be placed in the Honors Residential Learning Community. All roommates will also be members of the Honors Program.

If you would like to opt out of the Honors Residential Learning Community, you can do so by completing this form (also located within the housing application) by 11:59 PM ET on June 1. This will NOT opt the student out of the University Honors Program.

If you’ve already completed the housing application before being admitted to the Honors Program, but would prefer to live in the Honors Learning Community, please email Residence Life with the subject line “Shift to Honors Housing” for assistance with your application.
