Request a Replacement Diploma

Butler graduates may order a replacement diploma by completing the Butler University Diploma Order form. They may also submit a written request by mail, email, or fax instead. The cost of a replacement diploma is $50.

Mailed requests should include a check made payable to Butler University and may be addressed to:

Faxed or emailed requests can be submitted with credit card information to 317-940-6539 or to registrar@butler.edu. Credit card information should include the:

  • Name on the credit card
  • Account number
  • Expiration date
  • Security code number

The written request must include the graduate’s:

  • Legal signature
  • Name at the time they attended Butler
  • How the name should be printed on the diploma
  • Year of graduation
  • Mailing address where the diploma should be sent

Once you place the order, it takes six–eight weeks to receive the diploma. The diploma will be signed by the current administration.
