Orientation Online Modules
Take the Orientation, "U Got This!" and "AlcoholEdu" Courses
The Orientation online course will prepare you for life as a Bulldog. Within this course you will be introduced to academic and student life resources, learn about what to expect when living or commuting to campus, and explore how to make the most of your Butler experience. The orientation online course will be available to new and transfer students on July 31st.
Questions about the Orientation course should be directed to the Office of New Student & Family Programs.
"U Got This!"
"U Got This" is a part of our comprehensive approach to sexual and relationship misconduct response and prevention.
"U Got This!" is delivered through three 15–20 minute online training modules to speak up, step in, and create a better campus for all. These short, dynamic training modules will encourage students to incorporate intervention values into their day-to-day lives while also learning valuable lessons in how to build a respectful environment on campus. (This program is accessible on desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.)
Questions about the "U Got This" program should be directed to Maria Kanger, Title IX Coordinator.
The "AlcoholEdu" course approaches all levels of alcohol and other drug usage to educate you to make safe choices and help friends. This online module provides awareness training, alcohol abuse prevention, and safe drinking tips for college students who choose to drink.
Questions about the "AlcoholEdu" program should be directed to Beth Lohman, Associate Director of Recreation and Wellness.
On July 31, all new Butler first year and transfer students will receive an email with instructions about completing the online educational modules, "U Got This!" and "AlcoholEdu."
These courses must be completed by all new first year and transfer students by September 4, 2020.
