Making a Reservation

Reserve a room using our online system. Irwin and Science study rooms are listed separately, with group and individual study rooms broken out separately on each library’s reservation page. Choose your room and reservation start time from the calendar view, then, below the calendar, choose your reservation end time and click “Submit Times”. Log in with your Butler email and password, enter your first and last name, click “Submit My Booking”, and your reservation is confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email at the time of scheduling, which is your proof of reservation. Students are welcome to use an unoccupied study room but must yield to a group/individual with a reservation.

If the rooms are all reserved and you need a study space, please contact Information Commons. Staff may be able to locate additional study space in the library.

Dry Erase Marker Kits

We have several dry erase marker kits available for students to checkout along with their study room. These kits come with a variety of marker colors and an eraser and are loaned out for up to 4 hours. Overdue and billing information can be found on the Equipment page.
