Admission Information

The Lacy School of Business is accredited by AACSB, the gold standard of business schools. Only five percent of business schools world-wide have received this level of accreditation. Butler’s tuition rate is lower than most programs in the state, and also significantly lower during a traditional fifth year. For current tuition rates, visit the Student Accounts website. MPAcc students are admitted for both fall and spring semesters based on the following deadlines:

  • May 15—Priority Scholarship
  • July 31—Fall Semester
  • November 30—Spring Semester

Submit the following required documents by the above dates to start working toward CPA Certification:

  • Butler application 
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Personal statement
  • Current resume
  • Official transcripts or copies of official transcripts from all colleges and universities where candidates:
    • Earned a degree
    • Earned more than 15 credits (undergraduate and graduate)
    • Completed any program prerequisite (regardless of number of credit hours)
    • Completed courses for which candidates are applying for transfer credit

Copies of official transcripts may be uploaded in the online application for application review only. Applicants who receive an offer of admission will be required at that time to submit official final transcripts issued directly from the institution(s) for verification prior to enrollment.
