Office of Student Success

Supporting CHP students from first visit to graduation

The College of Health Professions (CHP) Office of Student Success (OSS) is the only dedicated student success office embedded within a Butler academic college. We walk alongside students from their first campus visit through Commencement—connecting them with resources, experiences, and people who support their academic, personal, and professional growth.

What we do

Our team collaborates with students, faculty, and campus partners in four key areas:

Recruitment and Admissions

We support prospective students through individual and group campus visits, Open Houses, Butler Bound events, and guidance related to professional program applications and interviews.

Student Success

We help students navigate key milestones through New Student Registration, Academic Day and orientation programming, ongoing academic and professional support, and referrals to campus partners and student services.

Co-curricular activities

We support student involvement beyond the classroom through CHP student organizations, campus and professional engagement opportunities, the Assistant Dean’s Student Advisory Council, and the CHP Student Ambassadors program.

Events

We help coordinate meaningful experiences throughout the year, including commencement support, community-building activities and celebrations, Welcome to the Profession events, Honor Day and awards celebrations, and Summer Healthcare Camp.
