Spanish Majors

“I’m a combined major in Anthropology and Psychology and this helps me study all aspects of human life. My classes are very different from each other but as I learn more, I find ways to intertwine the two studies. I also have time to study Spanish as a major! If I were to do my combined major separately, I would not have room in my schedule to fit in a Spanish major.”

“I’ve found myself questioning a lot of things as I’ve gone through my college journey, but something I have never, ever questioned is whether or not HAC was the place for me. Hands down, this department is the most welcoming, supportive, and genuine environment I’ve ever experienced. I already knew the humanities would give me the academic and professional skills I need for my future, but the community of students and faculty/staff in this department make this department the most incredible group to be a part of.”

“As a history political science combined major, the major allowed me to pursue a true inter-disciplinary lens. With the rise of AI and political instability, it is more important than ever to ensure the skillsets we have are robust, nuanced, and provide new insights. By combining different disciplines, we unlock new opportunities of knowledge discovery. The HAC Department offers critical skills in information synthesis and argumentative practice that other disciplines do not offer. The in-depth hands on experience you gain in this field provide critical skills needed for law school.”
