Apply to Butler

Your Future is Waiting.

There's never been a better time to be a Butler Bulldog. Whether you’re a new student or transferring from another university, we do our best to make the application process a smooth one. Review our admission requirements, learn more about how to apply, and see a list of our key application dates.

When you're ready, get started on your Butler Application or Common App below.

Fall 2020 Application Still Available

We understand that some students may now be reevaluating plans for next year. Butler University is still accepting both first-year and transfer applications for fall 2020 and is extending full academic scholarship consideration to all applicants. Admission decisions are processed and released no more than 1-2 weeks after an application is completed.

Butler University admits students of any race to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at Butler University.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
