Admission Requirements

From high school schedule strength to test scores to co-curricular activities, our Admission Committee takes multiple criteria into account when evaluating applicants for admission.

How To Apply

First-Year Applicants

In addition to the Butler or Common Application, requirements include a writing sample, official test scores, high school transcript, and a Secondary School Report.

Transfer Applicants

In addition to the Butler or Common Application, requirements include an official transcript from each college or university attended. Additional requirements vary by program.

Graduate Applicants

Butler offers 18 master's degree programs in five colleges and the Doctor of Pharmacy from our College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Our graduate programs, in the colleges of business, education, fine arts, liberal arts and sciences, and pharmacy and health sciences, provide the highest quality of liberal and professional education.

International Applicants

The application process for international students is very similar to the first-year applicant process, with a few differences. International applicants must submit proof of English Proficiency and Butler's Application for Form I-20.
