Dinner with 10 Bulldogs

The Butler University Student Foundation is continuing the tradition of bringing Butler students and alumni together with the “Dinner with 10 Bulldogs” program. The evening will consist of a dinner party hosted by a Butler alumnus or friend for current Butler students. Dinners can also be hosted by a pair or group of alumni who wish to share hosting responsibilities. These small dinner parties give students a chance to meet successful alumni, friends, faculty, and fellow students in a friendly environment.

The program has two main goals. One goal is to help current students gain a better understanding of the opportunities available to them after they graduate. The second goal is to allow alumni to meet current students and see what life is like today at their alma mater. Through this interaction, the students will be able to witness first hand the benefits of a Butler degree.

A member of the Student Foundation will assist you in planning the dinner and will also attend to act as a formal liaison between you and your guests. The events of the evening are at the discretion of the host. You choose the date, the place, the meal, the atmosphere, and even the theme, if you choose to have one. The hosts are encouraged to invite students with majors similar to the host’s profession or students involved in the same campus activities or athletic teams as the host. Hosts can receive in-kind gift credit for the expenses incurred for the evening.

To become a host, please complete the online Dinner with 10 Interest Form. Once we receive your interest form, we will contact you to finalize all the details. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Butler Community Engagement at 317-940-9946.
