Join Butler’s Admitted Student community

• Once you’re logged into Nearpeer, click the My Groups tab at the bottom of your screen
• Click the plus sign at the bottom right and scroll through the groups available
• When you find a group you’d like to be added to, click Join

• Once you have added yourself to a group, you can then chat with other members of that group
• From your list of groups, click on the group you would like to send a message in
• At the top right, you will see a button that says Chat, which will open the group chat for that message
• Within a group chat, you can tag others by using the “@” symbol

Of course! Simply click on that student, parent, or staff member’s profile. At the top, you will see a red Connect button. From there, you can directly message that user. To see all direct messages, click on the Messaging tab at the bottom of your app.
