Three + One: Earn a Bachelors and a Masters degree in just four years.

Students pursuing a three-year degree program within the College of Communication, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the Jordan College of the Arts now have the option to enroll in the Master of Arts in Management (MiM) program within the Lacy School of Business upon graduation.

This new opportunity allows students to complete their undergraduate degree in three years and then use the fourth year to complete a graduate degree, giving students the opportunity to enter the workforce with the experience and confidence needed to succeed.

Any Butler student graduating from a three-year program with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher is guaranteed admission to the program.

The online MiM program provides students with an accelerated path to gain the business acumen needed to advance in today’s competitive job market. This program is tailored to recent or soon-to-be college graduates with no, or limited, business knowledge.

Offered as both a full-time and part-time option, the MiM is a cohort-based program that starts every June. Courses are taught by Lacy School of Business’ recognized faculty.

Through MiM’s online, 33-credit hour program, students receive a solid foundation in business fundamentals including accounting, marketing, management, and finance. Learn more about the curriculum here

Students also complete a required internship as well as a capstone experience, and benefit from the Lacy School’s robust career development program, which includes a career mentor for every student.

Students who choose to enroll in the MiM program after completing a three-year degree will earn both a Bachelors and Masters degree in the same amount of time it takes most undergraduate students to complete just their Bachelors degree. And, they’ll save money doing it as the MiM program is entirely online and does not require campus residency.

In addition, it’s estimated that those who obtain a Masters degree earn approximately 20% more than those with just a Bachelors degree.

Students who graduate from their three-year degree program with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 are guaranteed admission to the MiM program, upon completion of the Butler Application. Application deadlines occur on the first of every month, starting September 1 through June 1. Learn more here.
