Butler is a Common App-exclusive institution for first-year and transfer admission.
Founder’s College at Butler University provides an affordable pathway for historically underserved students from the Indianapolis area who want to pursue education after high school. Students enrolled in the College can obtain their associate’s degree with little to no debt or out-of-pocket expenses.
The online Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership, Butler’s first degree completion option, is designed as a bridge for individuals with either an associate’s degree or 60 college credits.
Butler is now a Common App-exclusive institution for first-year and transfer admission.
Our Individual High School Student Enrollment Policy is designed for high school students to enroll in courses while still attending high school.
The Audit for Enrichment (AFE) program is designed for adults who have achieved at least a high school education who are interested in not-for-credit learning experiences for personal or professional enrichment.

At Butler, we don’t have a separate application for international degree-seeking applicants. Select either the first-year or transfer Common App to get started, depending on your student type.
Students like you should apply as an undergraduate non-degree applicant.
Butler offers a simplified process for students who are enrolled at other institutions but would like to take undergraduate courses during the summer. Summer guest registration is handled by the Office of Registration and Records.
