Policies and Rules

- All instructions given by the Aquatics Staff must be followed.
- Photography and videography are strictly prohibited in the Aquatic Center and locker rooms.
- Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian (18+) at all times.
- No dunking on the basketball hoop.
- All guests must be 16 years or older to use the spa.
- Diving is prohibited in all parts of the Aquatic Center.
- Starting blocks may only be used by the Butler Swim Team and Club Team.
- Running, pushing, or other dangerous conduct is not allowed.
- All flotation devices must be U.S. Coast Guard-approved.
- Proper swim attire must be worn to use the pool or spa.
- Infants and people with incontinence must use swim diapers.
- Spitting and blowing your nose in the pool and spa is not allowed.
- Inappropriate displays of affection and profanity are not allowed.

Yes. A minimum of one lifeguard will always be on duty.

The water temperature may fluctuate slightly every day, but the lap pool is usually 79°, the leisure pool is usually 82°, and the spa at 103°.
We do have swim equipment for our patrons. We have kickboards, pull buoys, and fins.

Yes. The animal may sit on the side of the pool while you swim.
Proper swim attire must be worn at all times in the pool and spa. Clothing must be designed for water sports, non-revealing, and excludes any type of street or cotton-based clothing.
