Have you ever thought about earning your Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and other water-based or medical certifications? We offer high-quality safety training programs with experienced instructors. Medical training and water safety skills are important for everyone to know, and we would love for you to join us for our American Red Cross and Starfish courses.
Description
American Red Cross Lifeguard candidates will learn the skills to prevent and respond to emergencies in a clear water aquatics facility. The course includes Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid. The certification will be valid for two years.
To enroll in this course, you must be at least 15 years old. Candidates must also be able to swim 200 yards continuously, tread water for 2 minutes, and retrieve a 10-pound weight from 10 feet of water.
Note: Course is Blended Learning, so there is online coursework prior to attending the in-person session. You will receive an email with this information closer to the course start date.

Description
The Lifeguarding Instructor (LGI) course trains instructor candidates to teach American Red Cross student-level courses, including Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers. Candidates must be 17 years or older and have a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.

Starfish Swimming is a nationally and internationally recognized swim instruction and instructor certification program that uses innovative and effective teaching methods and has safety concepts built in at every level.

Description
As an EMT, firefighter, athletic trainer, or lifeguard, is it your duty to respond to cardiac or breathing emergencies until more advanced medical personnel can take over the patient’s care. From assessing needs and making decisions to providing care, this program provides the skills you need through discussion, video, and hands-on training based on real-life rescue scenarios. Additionally, you will learn how to clean up biohazard spills using proper and safe techniques.
