Volunteer Opportunities
There are various opportunities to volunteer throughout the year. We host multiple heritage events including downtown Indianapolis’s GermanFest and are always seeking volunteers for all of these events. In addition we plan multiple “clean-up” days which include helping to maintain both the interior and exterior of the building.
Mission
The Athenaeum preserves and enhances its historic German-American landmark to advance the Sound Mind in a Sound Body values of its founders through programming that lifts spirits and engages in diverse communities.
