Two of our long-term projects, Tube Factory artspace and Listen Hear, host community and cultural programs as hubs for social connectivity, cooperation, and creativity in the Garfield Park neighborhood just south of downtown Indianapolis. We also facilitate people-focused placemaking and place keeping projects across the city and beyond through Spark Placemaking. The Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana (FHCCI) is a private, non-profit fair housing organization founded in 2011. Its mission is to ensure equal housing opportunities by eliminating housing discrimination through advocacy, enforcement, education and outreach.

In its current state, the Near Westside has successfully graduated from the GINI initiative and has formed the Near West Collaborative, which consist of four culturally, economically, and diverse neighborhoods (Hawthorne, We Care, Haughville, and Stringtown). Now known as a Sustainable Community through LISC;, Near West Collaborative works as a conduit to ensure the neighborhood associations, institutions, community centers, and business work together to help improve the quality of life of the community by focusing on seven priority areas for immediate and long-term vitality of the neighborhoods. These priorities consist of housing, public safety, beautification, economic development, education, health, and civic and youth participation. In order to accomplish major goals of our Quality of Life plan, we enlist the help of organizations like you. Your contribution, sponsorship, or volunteer support provides millions of dollars of investments that will ultimately improve the quality of life of every individual in the Near West area. Each year, Near West creates a list of proposals that will be great for organizations like you to participate in. These proposals are not set in stone, they is always room for editing, rephrasing, and reevaluating the process to fit the needs of the community and your organization. We hope that these ideas spark an interest in your organization and you can find an idea that you can participate fully in.

PALS Programs designs immersive experiences where young adults with Down syndrome and their peers have fun, grow as individuals, and build transformative friendships. Camp PALS is a week-long, overnight sleepaway camp run at 14 locations across the country from June-August.

Rebuilding the Wall, Inc. (RtW) stabilizes low-income families by providing the opportunity for homeownership through the renovation of vacant inner city properties. We combat social injustice by building relationships across racial and socio-economic barriers; and we stabilize the community by recycling resources within our Indianapolis neighborhood.

United Way of Central Indiana fights for the education, financial stability, health and basic needs of everyone in our community.

Westminster Neighborhood Services provides education support, access to basic needs, and community connections to empower neighbors and strengthen youth and families on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis.
