Launch Experience

Irvington House’s Faculty-In-Residence (FIR)

“As a FIR, we plan formal and informal events throughout the academic year. For example, on Halloween, I brought in some professional storytellers to tell spooky stories.  We also offer smaller things like study snacks before a big exam or informal dinners. Students also come to take my dog on a walk. Ultimately, being a FIR is helping students form a community.”
