At Butler, nursing education is rooted in practice. Students move between classroom learning, lab work, simulation, and clinical settings designed to build sound clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and confidence. Guided by expert faculty, Butler Nursing students learn to care for patients, families, and communities while developing the professionalism and resilience needed in today’s healthcare environments.

Clinical Education & Partnerships

Butler Nursing students gain hands-on experience in real healthcare settings throughout the Indianapolis area. BSN students complete 495 clinical hours, while MSN–Entry to Practice students begin clinical placements in their first semester and complete 800+ clinical hours.
