The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS) program is one of the fastest growing programs on campus, paralleling the growth of the healthcare sector in the US economy.  The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that between 2021 and 2031, overall employment in healthcare occupations will grow much faster than the average for all occupations, projecting approximately 1.9 million openings each year from the growth and replacement needs. As the country’s healthcare landscape changes, the education we provide changes to ensure our graduates are optimally prepared to be successful healthcare professionals.

Health Sciences

This major blends foundational science with modern healthcare insights, preparing students for healthcare careers such as dentistry, genetic counseling, occupational therapy, optometry, medicine, physical therapy, and physician assistant roles.

Healthcare and Business

This major combines cutting edge business acumen with robust knowledge of today’s healthcare systems, preparing students for careers in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare IT, medical device sales, insurance, consulting, and more.
