To apply, candidates should submit the following:

  • Butler application
  • Personal statement (should indicate interest in part-time or full-time)
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Official transcripts
  • Current resume
  • GMAT/GRE scores (See below for change in process)

Important Dates

2020–2021 Academic Year

Application launch: October 2019

Application deadlines: Occur on the first of every month starting January 1 through June. Decisions will start being released two weeks after each application deadline.

Program start: June 29, 2020

As a part of the global effort to contain the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), many GMAT and GRE testing centers are closed until further notice. We understand these closures limit your ability to take, or retake, the GMAT and GRE tests currently required for entry into Butler University’s Masters in Management (MiM) program.

As a result, we are no longer requiring students with a 3.0 GPA or higher to submit GRE or GMAT scores as part of their application for the summer 2020 cohort. In lieu of test scores, applicants will be required to participate in a phone and/or Zoom interview with an MiM program staff member. If you have a test score on file and were planning to retake the GMAT or GRE, please contact to discuss your options.
