Mary Church Terrell Exhibit Coming to Irwin From February 5—March 15

Irwin Library is proud to host an exhibit for Founder’s Week and Black History Month highlighting the work of social justice and civil rights activist, feminist, political organizer and author Mary Church Terrell, the daughter of slaves who went on to create the National Association of Colored Women and signed the charter that established the National Association for the Advancement for Colored People (NAACP).
