About the Lacy School of Business

The future of business education starts at the Lacy School. Here, education isn’t confined to a traditional lecture hall. Our students are immersed in the business of doing business. They develop business plans, launch new ventures, and engage with experienced executives each and every day.  It’s a model our friend and benefactor Andre B. Lacy believed in. And a model that sets us apart.

College Advisory Boards

The Dean’s Advisory Council was established to assist the Andre B. Lacy School of Business in offering a business education of the highest quality. The council is composed of business professionals who serve as counsel to the School for proposed changes and innovations. Members help define and implement standards of excellence in faculty-student partnerships, intellectual development and service.

Erin Roth is the Chair of the Dean’s Advisory Council.

Council Members

The MPA Advisory Board is comprised of alumni and friends, all accounting professionals, who span public and corporate, as well as large and small accounting firms. The members of this board provide critical feedback and help guide the direction of the MPA program, particularly its curricular and extracurricular components, and participate in MPA programs and activities.

Each sector team will be assigned an Advisory Board member that will serve as a reference for investment ideas and recommendations. The Advisory Board (or at least a portion) will also be a part of the performance measurement presentation at the end of the SMIF course.
