SLHS Experiential Opportunities & Community Services

Our program is one of only a few undergraduate programs that offers our students clinical practicum experience. These students gain valuable foundational skills that help them to have a strong start to their graduate school training. Students provide supervised clinical services or therapy to people in our community via our on-campus Speech-Language clinic, our Community Preschool Screening Program, our Audiology Clinic, our Butler Early Language and Literacy Preschool Program (BELL), and our Butler Aphasia Community. In addition, students have an opportunity to observe professionals in a variety of settings around the Indianapolis community from schools, to hospitals, to private practice clinics.
