Thank you for your interest in joining us as a Cooperative Teacher in the Early Childhood Educator Certificate program. We highly value the role of Cooperative Teachers, as they play a pivotal part in the success of the program. Your commitment and dedication to providing quality education and support to aspiring early childhood educators are greatly appreciated.
The Cooperative Teacher role is integral to creating a well-rounded learning experience for our students. As a Cooperative Teacher, you will be expected to fulfill the following responsibilities and expectations:
As an ECEC Cooperative Teacher, you commit to the following:
- 12 Courses
- 1–3 Hours Per Week
- 4 Weeks Per Course
- 15 Hours Per Month
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate program-related learning and teaching opportunities with program candidates in your classroom.
- Model exemplary practice.
- Share informal, constructive feedback with candidates.
- Document formal feedback for Butler faculty
