Education
The Teacher-Led, Teacher Ed program, offered by Butler University’s College of Education and Office of Continuing Education and Professional Education, is designed to support new teachers, alternatively credentialed, emergency-permitted, or long-term substitute teachers with the training they need to succeed in the classroom. Students in our program will start with the self-paced Foundations Module where they will learn the basics of classroom management, lesson planning, and how to teach their content in a more effective manner. This 6- to 8-hour training provides real, relevant, bite-sized, and actionable vocabulary and information for immediate implementation.
The Early Childhood Educator Certificate Program is a scalable and replicable solution to address Indiana’s shortage of qualified early childhood educators. Co-developed by Butler University College of Education and Early Learning Indiana (ELI), with support from the Richard M. In order to provide consultants with an internationally recognized certification in consulting, the Association of Internal Management Consultants (AIMC), in partnership with the Office of Continuing Education and Professional Education, is introducing the new AIMC Certified Consultant Program. The program involves nine online learning modules/courses and a certification test that upon successful completion, along with other requirements, results in the award of the AIMC-CC designation.
