Planning Workgroups
Planning workgroups are forming around several areas of strategic importance. These workgroups, comprised of faculty and staff, will be responsible for gathering information and input from various stakeholder groups, analyzing data, and identifying recommended areas of focus for Butler’s strategic plan. A high-level overview of the workgroups is noted below. The website will be updated to include workgroup participants once finalized.
The following essential elements will serve as a foundation for all strategy planning work:
- Butler’s Mission and Values
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging
- Innovation and Transformation
- Sustainability
Growth and transformation are essential to Butler’s future and core to who we are as an institution. We must continue to invest in differentiated programs and experiences that exceed the expectations of our learners and contribute to successful outcomes. We must leverage our strong story to further expand Butler’s prominence locally and nationally while also leaning into new opportunities to achieve the sustained growth necessary for the years ahead.
Specific areas of focus will include: Academic Program Portfolio, Student Experience and Outcomes, Reputation and Enrollment Growth, Arts, and Athletics.
