Course
To enhance the race experience, the course was lengthened from
5K (3.1 miles) to 3.5 miles. This will allow participants to start
and finish in the same area as well as give spectators easier
access to cheer.
3.5 mile
course: (9 a.m. start)
The course will start at the top of the Butler Bowl and go along
the Hinkle Fieldhouse and HRC corridor to Lake Rd. From Lake Rd.
the course runs through the beautiful Butler campus, west on
Hampton Dr., around to Haughey Rd. to 42nd. West on 42nd to Michigan Rd. turning north
onto Michigan and then taking the canal path northeast to 52nd St. Once on 52nd, you will go east and run to the
Butler Bowl and finish on the football field.
Butler University reserves the right to alter the course for
safety prior to the race based on weather conditions. Runners
will start in front of the pack with walkers following.
Dog Walk: (9:15 a.m. start)
The Dog Walk will start at the top of the Butler Bowl and go
along the Hinkle Fieldhouse and HRC corridor to Sunset Ave.
continuing down Butler Way, around the South Mall, Norris Plaza,
North Mall and returning on Lake Rd. finishing at the HRC.

This is a family event. Non-motorized strollers, wagons, carts
and carriers are permitted, but participants are asked to be
mindful of other two-legged and four-legged walkers. If your dog
needs to take pit stop, please clean up after them!
