Volunteer Opportunities
- Teen Night:
- Every Third Saturday
- Event starts and ends from 7:00pm-10:00pm
- Responsibilities: Set up, help coordinate and supervise teens, maintain attendance, ensure safety and help teens with using center equipment (i.e. computers, internet, games etc.) Motivate and support youth in building strengths, skills, and relationships that lead to positive health, smart life choices, and pursuit of higher education goals.
- Teen Tutor:
- Requirements: Meet once a week with student.
- Responsibilities: Plan lessons and tutor a YMCA community student one-on-one. Communicate with student and/or family to ensure regular attendance. Perform all duties with honesty, caring, respect, and responsibilities.
- Youth Sports Coach: Portray a positive role model for youth by promoting good sportsmanship, insuring fair play and planning/leading practice sessions for designated teams. Assist in keeping participant’s safe at all times. Communicate all leagues information to players and parents as directed. Knowledge of skills and fundamentals of the sport is preferred.
