Volunteer Opportunities
Looking for a way you can use your time and talents to make an impact in the lives of children now and in the future? The STEM Connection has various ways you can help, including assembling STEM kits or doing administrative tasks in the barn, painting picnic tables or other work around the farm, speaking with youth about your own STEM journey, or serving on a TSC committee or board. Volunteer opportunities are available for most ages, both as individuals and in groups.
TSC has various project-based volunteering opportunities that provides STEM Family Kits to families all over Indiana or outdoor improvements at the farm. These can be offered as an extended volunteer option, or as a one-time opportunity.
Mission
The STEM Connection's mission is to engage youth in STEM principles through accessible, nature-related experiences with a commitment to those who are under-represented in STEM careers. Our hope is that these experiences will fuel dreams and inspire futures in STEM.
