Volunteer Opportunities
- Reading Buddies to assist our Reading Education Assistance Dogs and their handlers in coordinating students as they come from class to the reading area and then return to class when their time is over. (days, when school is session)
- Volunteers owning dogs that are good in basic obedience skills and would like to become a pet therapy team visiting nursing homes, skilled care facilities, hospitals, libraries, etc. (Ongoing)
- Data Entry assistance – single project or ongoing
- Data Analysis, compiling impact data from our programs in the community
- Fundraising, one-time or ongoing
- Event planning, for a single event or ongoing
- Writers to assist in writing copy for press releases, website, newsletter, etc
- Writers to assist in compiling our Youth-Canine Programs manual for Program Managers
