Volunteer Opportunities
A BizTown – During a one-day simulation, the JA BizTown Mentor works directly with a small group of students to assist with seeking business loans, managing staff and working together to operate a successful business (6 hour commitment).
JA in a Day Opportunities – JA in a Day places volunteers in the classroom to teach the entire JA curriculum in an exciting one-day event. (4-5 hour commitment).
Traditional In-School Opportunities – This is an amazing opportunity to be in the classroom working directly with students. Volunteers from the community visit local schools to present short lessons over a 5-7 week period (one day a week for 45 minutes).
JA provides all the materials, lesson plans, and a one-hour training for all of the programs.
