Mission
Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis believes every young person deserves to live a life filled with hope and opportunity. Because we care about our young people, we provide a safe, educational and positive atmosphere where they can prosper and reach their full potential.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Power Hour: 6-18 yrs; daily comprehensive homework help & tutoring for children 6-18.
- Skill Tech: assist youth with becoming familiar in word processing, spreadsheet & other productivity software through fun, hands-on, engaging lessons/projects.
- Money Matters: 13-18 yrs work alongside program to promote financial responsibility & independence. Learn to manage checking account, budget, paying for college save and invest.
- Career Launch: 13-18 yrs; help youth ages 13-18 assess their skills and interests, explore careers, and make sound educational decisions.
- Graduate To Go: 13-18 yrs; work with teens to create & review Graduation Plans, work closely with schools to exchange student data, & work with staff to implement career development & college readiness programs.
- College Readiness: 13-18 yrs; assist teens with navigating through college applications, scholarships, financial aid information, researching possible colleges and degrees.
