Mission
Teachers' Treasures helps at-risk children get the materials they need to succeed in school by providing teachers with donated educational supplies for use by the students in their classroom.
Volunteer Opportunities
IT Data management (Monday – Friday 10 AM – 5 PM)
Help us upgrade our technology capabilities. Teachers’ Treasures is getting ready to transition to new scanning system. Join the committee to help with this transition and take part in the planning, installation and roll out of the program.
Marketing/Social Media Volunteer (Monday – Friday 10am -5 pm)
Get hands on experience planning, creating and executing social media marketing campaigns. Help maintain our social media forums, creating posts, updating the website, etc.
Office Assistant (Monday – Friday 10 AM – 5 PM)
Get hands on experience in the administration of a nonprofit program. Office assistant helps with all aspects of nonprofit administration. Help with filing, data entry, mailings, etc.
Stocking (Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
5 – 10 volunteers needed daily. Are you a great organizer? Do you love rearranging your home décor and decorating? You could be a great merchandiser in our facility. Help our staff stock, restock and stage our store shelves. Adopt a department and make it your special project: books, school supplies, office supplies, toys and incentives, arts & crafts, science supplies, etc.
Check-Out Assistant
Mon. to Wed. 2:30 PM – 6 PM, Thurs. until 7pm, One Saturday a month 9am- 12pm
4 volunteers needed daily
Spend your time meeting the teachers who receive our supplies while sitting at our check-out stations. Since payment is not involved, making change is not necessary. However, attention to detail is needed for reviewing the shop sheet list of items selected by each teacher.
